The Festival Series at King's kicked off

The ten-day The Festival has just started and is set to transform into a buzzing hive of poker activity. The Festival Series promises an intense schedule with a staggering 65 events, ensuring the poker tables never cool down.

What is “The Festival”?

Conceived by Martin “Franke” von Zweigbergk in 2021, The Festival Series has rapidly carved a niche in the European poker scene. Having graced casinos in Bratislava, Tallinn, and Nottingham, Rozvadov is now a proud host, with future events planned in Malta and Bratislava later this year.

Main Event: A €500,000 Guaranteed Prize Pool

The crowning jewel of the series, the Main Event, spans from June 5 to June 9. With a buy-in of €550, the event guarantees a hefty €500,000 prize pool spread over three days of play. Competitors will have six opportunities, including a turbo flight, to join the action, with two re-entries allowed per flight. Each player starts with 50,000 chips, with blinds increasing every 40 minutes.

The Hendon Mob Championship (THMC)

Adding more thrill, the THMC will also unfold in Rozvadov, carrying a guaranteed €200,000. This three-day event has five starting days, and a buy-in of €250 grants players 50,000 chips. Players can make unlimited re-entries during the initial 10 levels, each lasting 15 minutes.

Beyond the Main Events

The Festival doesn’t just cater to traditional poker fans. From €40 satellites to a €1,100 high roller event, there’s something for everyone. The diversity of games is notable, with offerings from No-Limit Hold’em, Pot-Limit Omaha, to various mixed games and less common formats like 2-7 Triple Draw and Stud.

Special Prizes and More

Winners can expect not just substantial cash prizes but also creatively designed trophies and WSOPE Main Event tickets valued at €10,350. Top finishers in selected events will have the chance to snag these coveted entries, enhancing the stakes and the glory of victory.
