EPT Prague Shatters More Records

In an extraordinary display of poker talent and enthusiasm, the PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) at the Hilton Prague has set a new all-time record. The EPT Prague Main Event, with its €5,300 buy-in, attracted a staggering 1,285 entries, generating an impressive prize pool of €6,232,250. This phenomenal turnout not only surpassed last year’s record of 1,267 entries but also solidified EPT Prague’s position as a premier European poker event.

A Gathering of Poker Elites

This year’s event saw an influx of both seasoned pros and rising stars from the DACH region, including Eureka winner Alexander Tkatschew, Claas Segebrecht, Ole Schemion, Max Neugebauer, and Manuel Fischer. The competition was intensified with the presence of international poker luminaries such as Andras Nemeth, Juha Helppi, Leo Margets, Benjamin and Marle Spragg, Omar Eljach, Dario Sammartino, Tamas Adamszki, Niklas Astedt, and Niall Farrell, adding to the event’s prestige and diversity.

A Full House of Excitement and Skill

From the very beginning, the EPT Prague was a spectacle of skill and nerve. The second start day alone brought in an overwhelming 838 entries (704 unique players), filling the venue with an electrifying atmosphere. The mix of local talents and international stars created a dynamic and challenging environment, offering spectators and players alike a thrilling poker experience.
